This program is specifically designed for Tzoumerka in Epirus, catering to experienced canyoning enthusiasts and college graduates. Participants are required to have completed at least one activity of the Hard class to join.
Activities: Matsouki and Kritharia Canyons
Saturday – Matsouki Canyon:
The mesmerizing Matsouki Canyon winds its way through the village of Matsouki, eventually converging with the Red River and culminating at the impressive Kamili Waterfall. The canyon’s pristine waters originate from 4-5 perennial springs situated above the village, at an altitude of 1600 meters in the Kakarditsa mountainous area.
As we venture beneath the second bridge, we are greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of the towering Camel Waterfall. From here, we proceed out of the water and engage in two thrilling rappels, descending 25 and 5 meters, respectively, before embarking on the exhilarating final vertical descent of 45 meters, which is sure to ignite your senses.
During the spring season, the canyon boasts a generous flow of water, further enhancing the experience. With a total of 14 waterfalls (maximum height of 45m), Matsouki Canyon promises a day filled with excitement and natural beauty.

Sunday – Kritharia Canyon:
Situated above the Matsouki village, Kritharia Canyon is a premier destination for adventure and adrenaline enthusiasts. This challenging route offers continuous and breathtaking descents, featuring magnificent waterfalls that cascade over 60 meters, while providing awe-inspiring views from above.
The unique ending of the route involves engaging in River Trekking along the Karlbu stream, which merges with the Kalarrytiko River. The Kritharia Canyon offers an ideal setting for those seeking an action-packed day filled with adventure.
It’s important to note that the Kritharia Canyon route is considered difficult and demanding, suitable for canyoning college graduates or individuals who have completed at least one route of the Hard category.
In total, the canyon boasts 13 waterfalls (maximum height of 75m), adding to the exhilaration of the experience.
