This trip is suitable for everyone, regardless of previous experience, including all the essential paddling equipment. It is situated just a ten-minute drive from Heraklion, it offers convenience and accessibility.

You have the option to either pack your own lunch or enjoy a delicious meal at a local taverna. We offer two trip options: a shorter route of approximately 12 km and a longer route of around 20 km for more experienced paddlers. This is the perfect excursion if you are staying near Heraklion and prefer a shorter commute.

What To Bring For Canoeing at Agia Pelagia

• Bring water, eyeglasses, hats, sunscreen, swimwear, and a Lycra shirt, preferably one with ultraviolet protection.

• Additionally, you will need shoes that are comfortable in the water, since your feet will be wet.

• Shoes are not required, but they will help since most beaches have small pebbles.

• Be sure to pack your lunch if you do not wish to eat in the taverna for lunch.
