My son and I had an amazing time on this excursion. The drive to get here was not that far from Athens (transportation was arranged for us), but we felt like we were in another world with complete silence and pure natural beauty on all sides. Following the hike to the top of the mountain, the rappelling starts with some shorter ones that helped us get comfortable with all of the equipment. This is a great excursion for someone who wants an off the beaten path adventure that is challenging, but not out of reach for a novice hiker/canyoner.
