Indulge in a remarkable voyage to Dia, a captivating small island located opposite Heraklion, boasting environmental protection as an integral part of the NATURA 2000 network. Dive into the crystalline waters that embrace the island, home to the endangered Cretan Ibex and a plethora of indigenous species. Immerse yourself in the island’s rich history and mythical tales that date back to the Minoan era. Discover that Dia once served as a bustling port for the illustrious Palace of Knossos, and according to myth, it is said to be a dragon sent by Zeus to devour the Cretans. However, Poseidon intervened, convincing Zeus to toss two pieces of bread for the dragon to consume before attacking. As the dragon bit into the bread, it and the bread miraculously turned into stone, forming the magnificent island of Dia, along with the adjacent Paximadi and Petalidi islands.

Cancellation Policy - Flexible

• Whenever you cancel 4 days or earlier than the confirmed activity starting date, your fee will be refunded for the entire activity charge.
• In case of cancellation within 48 and 96 hours before the scheduled activity starting date, you'll get 50% reimbursed.
• Those who cancel 48 hours or beyond are considered last-minute cancellations. There will be no refunds
