Embark on an unforgettable hiking adventure in the captivating landscapes of Prespes, starting from the parking lot of Agios Achillios Island. Our journey begins with a transfer to the village of Vrontero, where we set foot on the path that leads us through a mesmerizing exploration of this scenic region.

We commence our hike along a rugged dirt road that descends towards the banks of the serene Small Prespa Lake. As we traverse this picturesque route spanning approximately 5 kilometers, we pass through the remnants of the vanished village of Agathoto. Along the way, we encounter the historic Kokkalis Cave, once a vital refuge and hospital for guerilla fighters during the Greek civil war. We take a moment to delve into its intriguing history and pay our respects.

Continuing our journey, we arrive at the tranquil shores of Minor Prespa, where we follow the enchanting lakeside path leading us deeper into the heart of Prespes National Park. This scenic route stretches for 6 kilometers, running parallel to the captivating banks of Small Prespa.
