Embark on an unforgettable hiking adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of Epirus, Greece. This scenic hike takes you from the traditional village of Megalo Papigo to the charming village of Vikos, immersing you in the heart of the stunning Vikos-Aoos National Park. With a difficulty level of 2, this hike is accessible to a wide range of hikers, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural exploration.

As you trek along the north-west face of Vikos Gorge towards the Voidomatis springs, you’ll be treated to extraordinary panoramic views of the upper Voidomatis Gorge, the renowned “Astraka Towers,” and the picturesque Papigo villages. The trail will lead you to the tranquil Voidomatis River, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit an ancient Monastery and even take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear bubbling waters.

After a rejuvenating break, the journey continues uphill for approximately 45 minutes, guiding you towards the village of Vikos, where the hike concludes.
