About animals and understand their behavior in the forest. Deer, wild boars, rams and other 34 species of mammals and 131 species of birds find refuge in the Parnitha National Park.
The flora of the forest. With 1.100 recorded species of plants it is considered equally fascinating: during our course, we meet large and impressive wood mushrooms grown on the trunks, we become aware of learning about the baby spruce leaves, while in spring our wildflowers with their colors accompany them.

Located just 40 minutes away from Athens, Parnitha Mountain offers a refreshing escape, filling the lungs with crisp mountain air and rejuvenating the senses. Our hiking adventure takes us through a well-marked trail, winding through a lush landscape of firs and pines, devoid of steep inclines or inaccessible terrain.
While exploring Parnitha, we delve into the art of deciphering animal tracks, gaining insights into their behaviors within the forest. The abundance of plant life is equally captivating, with a staggering 1,100 recorded species, showcasing the mesmerizing diversity of the forest’s flora.
Throughout our hike, we seize the opportunity to pause at natural springs and vantage points, offering breathtaking vistas extending across eastern Attica and the southern Evian Gulf. Every step of this journey unveils unique images and unforgettable experiences.
Our final destination is the Bafi Mountain Refuge, nestled at an elevation of 1,161 meters. As part of our hiking excursion, we treat our hikers to refreshing drinks, delectable snacks, and homemade pies. For those seeking a heartier meal, a variety of homemade delicacies await, including a flavorful bean soup, village sausage, and spaghetti with minced meat. Indulging in these culinary delights amidst the Refuge’s charming courtyard, adorned with awe-inspiring views of the cloud-kissed peaks, completes our unforgettable hiking experience.

- Whenever you cancel 4 days or earlier than the confirmed activity starting date, your fee will be refunded for the entire activity charge.
- In case of cancellation within 48 and 96 hours before the scheduled activity starting date, you'll get 50% reimbursed.
- Those who cancel 48 hours or beyond are considered last-minute cancellations. There will be no refunds
