Embark on an awe-inspiring and historically significant hike along a section of the renowned E4 European trail. This particular trail gracefully descends the slopes of Mount Parnassos, leading us towards the picturesque village of Delphi. Following in the footsteps of worshipers of the revered God Pan, we trace the ancient footpath that once connected the sacred temples of Delphi to the sacred Corycean cave , where holy rites were celebrated.
Our adventure commences on the captivating Livadi plateau, nestled at an altitude of 1200 meters. Guided by the ancient path, we meander through verdant forests, gradually descending towards the revered Delphi sanctuary. At this enchanting location, we are treated to a mesmerizing vista, overlooking a valley adorned with olive trees and offering glimpses of the majestic Corinthian Gulf. The imposing mountains of the Peloponnese provide a stunning backdrop, creating a scene that evokes both awe and tranquility.
Please note that this is an intimate group hiking tour, designed to provide a personalized experience for a maximum of eight participants. It’s important to note that this hiking tour focuses solely on the outdoor adventure, and does not include visits or guided tours of the Archaeological Site at Delphi.
