Be the first to review “Sea Kayak Northwest Paros”
Embark on an exhilarating sea kayak expedition that encompasses the breathtaking St Ioannis peninsula, enveloped in the enchanting beauty of Paros island. Our journey commences at the slender isthmus on the eastern coastline, allowing us to gracefully glide along the pristine waters as we circumnavigate the peninsula’s captivating contours. Venturing further, we traverse the tranquil bay of St Ioannis, its serenity captivating our senses, before venturing towards the mouth of Naousa bay.
En route, we are bestowed with the opportunity to pause and marvel at the awe-inspiring tunnel-arch, a magnificent formation nestled amidst the rocky coastline. Continuing our exploration, we paddle towards the majestic Northern cape, where the towering cliffs stand guard over the grand lighthouse, creating a scene of sublime beauty. Our paddling odyssey persists, guiding us through captivating rock gardens and remarkable formations, culminating at our final destination: a standalone arch, elegantly shaped like the Greek letter Π, where we indulge in a well-deserved lunch amidst its natural splendor. Upon completion, we retrace our path, returning to our starting point on the opposite side of the peninsula’s narrow neck.
The duration of our day trip may vary depending on the chosen route and prevailing wind conditions, typically ranging from 4 to 6 hours. Approximately half of this time is dedicated to serene paddling at a relaxed pace, while the remaining duration offers an abundance of leisurely activities to savor, such as beachside relaxation, invigorating swims, captivating snorkeling encounters, and the indulgence of a delectable snack or lunch.
