Our Sunset Sea Kayak trip lasts approximately 3 hours and is perfect for families looking to enjoy the water together. It combines a 30-minute preparation time, 1 hour of paddling exploration in Vourvourou bay and Diaporos island, and 2 hours of free time for swimming, snorkeling, enjoying snacks and fruits, relaxation, capturing photographs, and more.

Itinerary:

Preparation-Training: 17:00 – 17:30

Our tour begins with a short lesson on the beach, covering kayaking essentials such as safety issues, proper paddling techniques, steering, and stability tips. We also provide detailed information about our journey.

Paddling: 17:30 – 18:00

We embark on a leisurely paddling experience in the calm waters of Vourvourou bay, heading towards one of the beautiful beaches and coves on the south side of Diaporos island. During this part of our trip, we’ll soak in the stunning scenery of Vourvourou bay while learning interesting facts about the region’s culture, history, and traditions.

Free Time: 18:00 – 18:30

At the beach, we take our first rest stop, allowing you to swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the bay. Capture the beauty of the surroundings through photographs and immerse yourself in the underwater world teeming with sea life, including fish, sea urchins, jellyfish, and crabs.

Paddling: 18:30 – 18:45

We continue with a brief paddle towards Karydi cape in Vourvourou bay, where we’ll make another rest stop on the shore of Karydi cape.

Free Time – Snack: 18:45 – 19:45

Here, you have the opportunity to disembark from the kayaks, stretch your legs, and indulge in a refreshing swim and snorkeling experience in the cool waters. Climb atop the rock formations to admire the stunning sunset view and capture the tranquility with your camera. Take a moment to enjoy our healthy snacks and fresh fruits, replenishing your physical and mental energy for the journey back.

Paddling: 19:45 – 20:00

We conclude the trip with a short paddle back to the Sea Kayak Halkidiki center, cherishing the memories of this amazing 3-hour adventure on the water.
